Bryan Haworth
Bryan Haworth is a father, a husband, an Army veteran, a full-time purchasing manager, and a photographer—in no particular order. Photography has always been his passion, but it was only in March of 2024 that he decided to start turning his passion into art. So, with a Canon Rebel XT bought for $30 at a pawnshop, he set out to capture what he could. Bryan mainly focuses on wildlife photography and macro, but he does his fair share of still life, landscape, black and white, and composite. He has since upgraded to a Canon EOS 7D, but he maintains the student mindset (especially since he is still pursuing a degree in Digital Photography) that we always have something to learn, including understanding other types of cameras beyond his Canon gear.
Since starting, he has had photos exhibited in several photography magazines, a few art shows in various locations (Athens, Chicago, Barcelona, and Hanoi), and, possibly the most important achievement, one or two photos that his kids said were “pretty cool.” It was one of his “child-approved” photos that received the attention of Digital Photo Academy, and the rest, as they say, is the future.

Hey Bryan!
Thank you for your tolerance of my mom and I 🙃 haha we are certainly a duo. But most importantly thank you for sharing your knowledge, skills and patience while we learned all the things in our new found hobby. My mom and I spent hours after the workshop talking about how great and educational it was while also feeling extremely comfortable to learn, ask questions, make mistakes and laugh. All of which is attributed to a great instructor; such as yourself!
I couldn’t help but look back at the shots we took, the rough ones on my camera, and just be in pure awe! Beauty is everywhere and it truly is amazing the story a picture can tell when you capture it. I also love that it can tell multiple stories just based on angles. There is so much creativity and freedom there and that is incredibly exciting and enticing to me! I plan to sit down in the next few days and edit my photos (let’s see how it goes). I’d love to send you my edited versions and see how mine turn out. Yours were absolutely beautiful!! Couldn’t believe we got to be behind the scenes of the magical shots you took.
I definitely would love to pick your brain on how you got your photos to be “moody” I love that dark cool tone but I couldn’t adjust it myself.
Talk soon!
Best,
Shelly Rodriguez

Hello Bryan,
I would like to thank you for the beautiful workshop we had, it was awesome! I learned a lot and feel confident I can do magic with my camara.😂😂 The knowledge I got from you will make me more confident with my camera. You are a beautiful human being and a great instructor! Thank you for your patience and kindness as you answered all of our questions. We had a blast. I’m currently out of town but when I get back I will be editing some of my photos and sending your way. I really hope I can be good at photography as a hobby. But like we said, photography is an art. We can find beauty every where but just have to pay attention to your surroundings. Once again, thank you very much!
Regards,
Susana.

Greetings,
Bryan, I appreciate the knowledge that you were able to provide. It reinforced my understanding and boosted the confidence I have in myself. Like I mentioned on Saturday, using and understanding Shutter priority definitely gave me a new perspective, which I hope will lead to new abilities.
