Detroit

Welcome to the DPA workshops in Detroit. Classes are held at the Andy Greenwell Studio or the Park Shelton.  With 6 emmy nominations for camerawork and lighting, 2 outstanding achievement awards for cinematic lighting from I.T.V.A, pro shooter Andy Greenwell comes to us with a vast amount of accomplishments and experience.  Students will be inspired by his high tech studio in Farmington Hills where the classes will be held.   From the top of the 12-story tower of the Park Shelton, there’s a panoramic view of the skyline. Students can see everything from the Ambassador Bridge, across downtown toward Belle Isle. Even the downriver industrial area is absolutely photogenic, with the smokestacks and flames coming out of the refineries.

“I really wanted to attend this workshop but family doings prevented it.

I hope it was a success and you will be planning another at this location. I have attended several in Michigan and Arizona and the quality has always been excellent.

    thank you”

“We had a perfectly nice day in Downtown Detroit (Greektown). Our trainer Tom was able to gap the bridge between beginners and experienced photographers.”

Thank you Hugh. We just got back from our Mediterranean cruise where some of techniques you used really paid off for some great pictures I.e. creating a natural border and ISO. We look forward to finding an opportunity to attend the make up class.

I just wanted to let you know I really did learn a lot in that short period of time. And I’m really looking forward to taking more classes. After that class I came home with such a natural high and excited to learn more. I plan to post some of my pictures soon.”
