Toronto Union Station
Join our photo lessons at Toronto Union Station which is one of the excellent locales in the rotation of many Toronto venues that offer terrific photo opportunities.
Venue Description:
Beginning with 22 dramatic columns of Ionic, Corinthian, and Doric style, Toronto’s Union Station is an opulent example of Beaux-Art architecture built with Indiana and Queenston limestone. The interior flourishes of decorative friezes and other ornate enhancements, offer numerous compelling photo ops, and your instructor will be there to demonstrate and supervise an array of easy to learn strategies to compose your images that reflect your signature style of making photographs. The interior spaces of Union Station offers protection from harsh weather but winter temperatures can sporadically be conquered to catch compelling perspectives of the gleaming CN Tower and old world Fairmont Regal York Hotel.
Architectural and urban photo opportunities abound, but with 72 million commuters traversing the underground passage ways, there will also be lessons in street portraiture whether close up or long lens perspectives.
