Each Composition in the Field class begins with a talk with one of our experienced instructors, and then your instructor will lead you and your fellow students through this scenic locale. Photographers visiting Matheson Hammock Park will find a wealth of picturesque subjects to capture. From tranquil beach scenes along Matheson Beach to the unique sight of the man-made atoll pool, there are plenty of opportunities for stunning coastal photography.

The park’s natural trails offer chances to capture images of lush vegetation and wildlife, while the marina provides a backdrop of boats and water activities. Additionally, the historic coral rock buildings and scenic dining spots like Noma Beach at Red Fish offer architectural photography opportunities. Whether capturing nature, landscapes, or cultural elements, photographers will find endless inspiration at Matheson Hammock Park. You will have fun in the three hour session, learn to shoot strategically, get more interesting photos of the event, and walk away with a foundation to improve your photographs in the future.

Meet at the NOMA Beach at Redfish seafood restaurant (9610 Old Cutler Rd, Coral Gables, FL 33156).
